Turkey Concerned About Rise In Terrorist Incidents In Iraq

ANKARA - Turkey watches with concern and sadness the rise in terrorist incidents in Iraq following the provincial elections, Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) said on Saturday.
"We have been saddened by a suicide attack that took place in south of Baghdad on Friday that killed 40 people and injured around 80 others", the ministry said.
"We strongly condemn this terrorist incident and hope that Iraq reaches peace and tranquility as soon as possible," the Turkish MFA said.
