MOSCOW - The Turkish president proceeded from Russia to Tatarstan on Saturday.
Turkey's President Abdullah Gul completed Moscow leg of his four-day formal visit to Russia, and left for Tatar capital of Kazan.
Gul left Turkey for Russia on Thursday, signed a joint declaration with his Russian counterpart Dmitriy Medvedev to further improve friendship and multi-dimensional partnership as well as to advance the relations between the two countries.
Turkish President Gul held meetings with Boris Gryzlov, the speaker of the State Duma; Sergey Mironov, chairman of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of Russia; and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
