ANKARA- Turkish Treasury will repay 73.4 million U.S. dollars in foreign debt this week.
Treasury will repay 18.8 million U.S. dollars today (Monday), 5.6 million tomorrow (Tuesday), 14.3 million on Wednesday (November 10th), 20 million on Thursday (November 11th) and 14.7 million on Friday (November 12th).
Turkey has paid back 10.6 billion U.S. dollars since the beginning of 2004.
On the other hand, Treasury will hold two auctions tomorrow (Tuesday) to sell 322-day discounted Treasury bonds denominated in Turkish lira (TL) and 560-day discounted state notes denominated in TL.
Both the bonds and state notes will be issued on November 10th, 2004, while the bonds will be repaid on September 28th, 2005 and the maturity of state notes is May 24th, 2006.
