Palestinian shot dead in Rafah refugee camp

GAZA CITY (AFP) - A Palestinian man was shot dead and three others were wounded by Israeli soldiers during an incursion into the Rafah refugee camp in the southern Gaza Strip.
Raafat al-Hams, 26, died after being shot in the head while he was in his car, Palestinian security services said Wednesday.
His death brings to 4,550 the number of people reported killed since the start of the Palestinian intifada in September 2000. Of the total, 3,516 have been Palestinians and 960 Israelis.
