High Tribunal Starts Trying Ersumer And Cakan

ANKARA - The High Tribunal started trying Cumhur Ersumer and Zeki Cakan, two former Energy & Natural Resources ministers, this morning.
The Constitutional Court delegation will act as the supreme court during the hearing.
Earlier, parliament approved a decision of Turkish Parliamentary Inquiry Commission to send Ersumer and Cakan to the High Tribunal to stand trial over corruption and misusing their authorities.
If convicted, Ersumer and Cakan will be sentenced to imprisonment.
