Arinc Receives Etuc Secretary General Monks

ANKARA - Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc received John Monks, Secretary General of European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), on Tuesday.
Monks and accompanying delegation will have a short stay in Turkey.
Arinc said, ''we are very pleased with the visit of administrators of ETUC which also includes the biggest labor unions of Turkey. We welcomed their decision to support Turkey during EU membership process.''
''Turkish Parliament adopted important reforms and legal amendments throughout the EU process. We have started new legal term. We will certainly adopt EU adjustment laws regarding rights of workers,'' added Arinc.
