ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank rose by 348 million U.S. dollars between October 15th and 22nd, 2004.
According to the Central Bank's weekly statement, the bank's foreign exchange reserves, which were 35,302 million U.S. dollars on October 15th, increased to 35,650 million U.S. dollars on October 22nd.
On the other hand, the total of foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations decreased by 63 million U.S. dollars, from 18,070 million U.S. dollars to 18,007 million U.S. dollars, between October 1st and 8th.
The international reserves of Turkey, comprising gold and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations, rose by 363 million U.S. dollars from 53,810 million to 54,173 million U.S. dollars between October 1st and 8th.
