Turkish Minex-2004 Exercise To Be Performed In Aegean Sea In November

ANKARA - Turkish Minex-2004 Exercise will be performed in Aegean Sea between November 1st and 2nd.
Naval Forces Command stated on Thursday, ''the exercise, which will be hosted by Turkey, will be performed among ally Naval Forces to develop their cooperation and coordination regarding mine warfare.''
Vessels of Turkish Naval Forces and an aircraft of Turkish Air Forces, a mine disposal vessel from France and NATO Mine Countermeasures Force South (MCMFORSOUTH) which is comprised of vessels of Turkey, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Greece and Italy will take part in the exercise.
Vessels which participate in the exercise will visit Canakkale Port between November 1st-2nd and 6th-7th. The exercise will end on November 12th.
