Turkish Gendarmery Seize C-4 Explosives In Batman

BATMAN - Turkish gendarmery seized 3.1 kilograms of C-4 explosives in southeastern city of Batman, the Gendarmery Command said on Thursday.
The Command said that gendarmery forces, acting on a tip-off, confiscated 3.1 kilograms of C-4 explosives, and some other equipment used in bomb preparation.
Noting that two people were detained in the operation, the Command said that it suspected that the detainees were planning to stage terrorist acts targeting oil pipelines, oil storage areas and security forces.
