ANKARA - Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul left on Saturday for French capital of Paris, the first leg of his tour to several European countries.
Before he left for Paris, Gul told reporters that he would firstly attend the Mediterranean Forum in Paris, and proceed to The Hague, the Netherlands on Monday (October 25th).
Gul said that he would meet Foreign Minister Ben Bot of the Netherlands, the Acting President of the European Union (EU) in The Hague.
Noting that he would go to Czech capital of Prague after visiting The Hague, Gul said that he would be in German capital of Berlin on Tuesday (October 26th) to attend the tripartite summit among Turkey, Germany and France.
Answering a question on press reports about the possible team that would carry out full membership negotiations with the EU, Gul said that such press reports were not constructive.
Gul noted that his ministry had not completed its deliberations on the matter yet.
