GAZA CITY, Oct 22 (AFP) - A Palestinian woman died Friday of an Israeli army gunshot wound she suffered in the Gaza Strip refugee camp of Khan Younis, hospital sources said.
They said Najah Shawa, 40, was shot and wounded at the start of October.
Shawa's death raised to 4,512 the number of people killed since the outbreak of the Palestinian uprising, or intifada, in September 2000. They include 3,482 Palestinians and 956 Israelis, according to an AFP count.
