German Greens Party Officials To Visit Turkey

BERLIN - German Greens Party officials will visit Turkey between November 1st and 5th.
Claudia Roth, co-chairperson of the Greens, told reporters on Friday that they would meet government officials, representatives of some political parties besides human rights associations and representatives of churches in Ankara and Istanbul.
She added that they would then visit southeastern city of Diyarbakir to observe the developments in the region and they would proceed to southeastern city of Sirnak on November 3rd.
Roth will be accompanied by Reinhard Buetikofer, co-chairperson of the Greens, and other party officials.
