ROME, Oct 22 (AFP) - Italy's Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi said Friday he hoped President George W. Bush would be reelected in the US presidential polls on November 2.
"We hope and we believe that the next president will be Bush," he told reporters during a walking tour of the island of Ischia, near Naples.
"We are loyal friends of the United States. It has always been like that and we will continue to have this political friendship," he added.
