Arinc: We Expect That A New Government In Trnc Will Be Formed Soon

ANKARA - Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc said on Thursday that they expected a new government in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) would be formed as soon as possible.
Arinc received TRNC's Ambassador to Turkey Tamer Gazioglu.
Replying to questions of journalists after the meeting about resignation of the TRNC government, Arinc said, ''it is a domestic matter of the TRNC. Resignation of the government entails formation of a new one. We hope that the TRNC would not experience a political instability. We wish that a sound and stable government would be formed soon. Resignations, formation of a new government and vote of confidence are parts of usual process in a democratic country. However, stability is needed more than anything in a period in which Turkey is about to get a date from the EU for entry talks and efforts are under way to put an end to long-standing economic embargoes on the TRNC. Therefore, we expect a new TRNC government would be formed as soon as possible.''
