PARIS - ''Starting entry talks with the EU will have an important contribution in increasing the volume of foreign capital to enter Turkey,'' said Andrew Dean, Director of Country Studies Branch in Organization for Economic Cooperation & Development (OECD).
Dean held a news conference about the report OECD prepared on Turkish economy. He said, ''if entry talks start in December this will create an atmosphere of confidence and will contribute to increase the volume of foreign capital to be flown to Turkey''. ''The economic reforms which have been adopted in Turkey in recent years have also an important role in the increase of confidence in Turkey. Starting talks will also have positive affects,'' said Dean.
