ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank rose by 682 million U.S. dollars between October 8th and 15th, 2004.
According to the Central Bank's weekly statement, the bank's foreign exchange reserves, which were 34,620 million U.S. dollars on October 8th, increased to 35,302 million U.S. dollars on October 15th.
On the other hand, the total of foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations increased by 455 million U.S. dollars, from 17,615 million U.S. dollars to 18,070 million U.S. dollars, between September 24th and October 1st.
The international reserves of Turkey, comprising gold and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations, rose by 486 million U.S. dollars from 53,324 million to 53,810 million U.S. dollars between September 24th and October 1st.
