DUBAI, Oct 14 (AFP) - An Al-Qaeda-linked group on Thursday posted a video on its website showing the beheading of a Turkish man it described as "a truck driver who ferries supplies to US forces" in Iraq.
"The heroic lions of the Army of Ansar al-Sunna managed to capture a Turkish truck driver who ferried supplies to the US crusader forces," the group said in a statement posted on its website along with the video.
The video shows one of four hooded gunmen beheading the hostage and placing the head on the body, in what has become a pattern for similar footage of executions by extremist groups in Iraq.
