Gul: Expressions Regarding Minority Issue Are Removed From Progress Report

ANKARA - ''Expressions regarding minority issues are removed from the European Commission's Progress Report on Turkey,'' said Turkish Foreign Minister & Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul.
Answering questions regarding the matter, Gul said, ''they all are removed from the report. When you analyze the original text, you will see that they are removed from the ''conclusion'' part. Everybody knows that Turkey never accepts these expressions.''
''There are some issues which Turkey can never agree. They (the Europeans) showed a great understanding in this regard,'' added Gul.
