ISTANBUL - Forty houses and workplaces were flooded in Turkish metropolis of Istanbul due to heavy rainfall on Friday, sources said.
Sources told A.A correspondent that 40 houses and workplaces in the Anatolian side of Istanbul were inundated due to torrential rains which continued since the morning.
The sources said that torrential rains also jammed traffic in main arteries.
On the other hand, weather service officials announced that torrential rains would continue in the afternoon, and rainfall would be less effective on Saturday. They said that rain was not expected and it would be warmer on Sunday.
