Turkish Gendarmery Confiscate 90 Kg Of Heroin In Istanbul

ISTANBUL - Turkish gendarmery confiscated 90 kg of heroin in two separate operations in Istanbul, sources said on Wednesday.
Gendarmery stopped a car in Elmali village of Beykoz district and found 50 kg of heroin. Three people were detained. Also 35 kg of heroin was confiscated in the house of detained people in Beykoz.
In another operation, gendarmery confiscated 5 kg of heroin in Bahcekoy region of Sariyer district. One person was detained.
Operations are under way.
