Protest Aganst U.S. And Israel

ISTANBUL - A group of people held a demonstration in Beyoglu district on Wednesday to protest the United States and Israel.
The group carried Palestinian flag and placards writing, ''Socialist Platform of Victims'' and placards against U.S. operation in Iraq and Israel's policy in Palestine.
A press statement that was read at the demonstration criticized Middle East policies of the United States and Israel.
The statement defended that the United Nations and the European Union ignored the calls of Palestinian President Yasser Arafat for help.
The group later dispersed chanting slogans.
