Gul Receives Iraqi Ambassador To Turkey Umran

ANKARA - Turkish Foreign Minister & Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul received Iraqi Ambassador to Turkey Sabah Jameil Umran on Tuesday.
After the meeting, Umran told reporters that they discussed bilateral relations and current cooperation between Turkey and Iraq.
Asked whether presence of terrorist organization PKK/KADEK in Iraq was brought onto the agenda in the meeting, Umran said that they also took up this issue and Turkey had some uneasiness on this matter.
Stating that security of Turkish drivers was also brought onto the agenda in the meeting, Umran noted that Ankara expected maximum cooperation from Iraq. Umran added that they were ready for this cooperation.
Answering another question, Umran said that Turkish companies' withdrawing from Iraq was not a solution, noting that they took every kind of measure to assure security of drivers.
Replying to a question, Ambassador Umran said that they started visa procedure for Iraq in the embassy.
