JERUSALEM, Oct 5 (AFP) - A Lufthansa flight en route from Germany to Israel made an emergency landing in Cyprus on Tuesday after fears were raised of a bomb on board, Israeli military sources said.
They said the German carrier's aircraft landed at Larnaca airport on the south coast of the holiday island and that the Israeli air force was on a state of "very high alert".
A bomb threat was received by Lufthansa's offices in Frankfurt, according to Israeli radio.
