Singer-songwriter Billy Joel married Kate Lee on Saturday in a private sunset ceremony at his home on Long Island. It was Joel's third marriage. He is 55; Lee, 23, works as a television restaurant critic, and the couple is 32 years apart in age.
Among those at the weekend event were Christie Brinkley, the former supermodel and Joel's second wife, and their teenage daughter, Alexa Ray.
Joel, who goes by the "Piano Man" nickname, formed his first band at the age of 14. Last year, he spent 10 days at a Connecticut facility for substance abuse and psychiatric treatment. News reports at the time described him as having struggled with alcoholism and depression.
