Singapore Airlines plane diverted to Manchester airport

LONDON (AFP) - A Singapore Airlines plane flying from Frankfurt to New York was diverted to a British airport following a bomb threat.
The plane landed safely at Manchester airport at 11 am (1000 GMT) without a military escort, police said Monday.
