ANKARA - The State Institute of Statistics (DIE) announced on Sunday that that monthly inflation rose by 1.85 percent in wholesale prices and by 0.94 percent in consumer prices in September of 2004.
As of September 2004, annual inflation became 12.50 percent in wholesale prices and 9 percent in consumer prices.
In the first nine months of 2004, inflation rate became 9.31 percent in wholesale prices and 4.85 percent in consumer prices.
Meanwhile, according to 12-month averages as of September 2004, annual inflation rate was 11.16 percent in wholesale prices and 12.87 percent in consumer prices.
Price increase in the private sector of manufacturing industry which is called core inflation rate became 0.6 percent in September.
