ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan left for Germany on Saturday.
Holding a news conference prior to his departure, Erdogan said he would receive the award which would be given to him by Werkstatt Deutschland Foundation. He added this award is presented to people who are distinguished in the society with their foresight and leadership in political, economical, social and cultural life.
Erdogan said he would meet German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder and discuss the Progress Report which will be published on October 6th.
''I will also meet officials of German-Turkish Chamber of Trade and Industry and Turkish citizens during my visit,'' added Erdogan.
