Erdogan: We Are Very Sure Of The Progress Report

BERLIN - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday that they were sure that Progress Report which would be announced on October 6th would be very positive.
Erdogan, currently on a visit to Germany, attended a meeting of Turkish-German Chamber of Trade and Industry.
Speaking at the meeting, Erdogan said Turkey was on the eve of the Progress Report which would be published on October 6th, and noted that Turkey reached this process by exerting intensive efforts particularly in the past two years.
Erdogan said Turkey has been exerting efforts to enter the EU for more than 40 years, adding that, ''the government worked for the EU day and night and made legal arrangements to overcome any deficiency in political criteria.''
Erdogan said, ''there is nothing left on the table. All the world and my country followed the statement that there are no further obstacles on Turkey's path to EU.''
