British Airways plane makes emergency landing after bomb threat

THE HAGUE, Sept 30 (AFP) - A British Airways plane en route from Berlin to London made an emergency landing at Amsterdam's Schiphol airport Thursday after a bomb threat was received, a BA spokesman said in the Netherlands.
"There has been a bomb threat," spokesman Michel Boulogne told AFP. He would not give any other details.
In London, British Airways said the plane, carrying 118 passengers, was forced to make the unexpected landing because of a security "threat."
The Dutch ANP news agency reports that the BA plane was escorted 0b0y two F16 fighter jets as soon as it entered Dutch air space.
The plane landed safely and all the passenger disembarked, BA said.
