PARIS, Sept 28 (AFP) - Former Nantes and Real Sociedad coach Raynald Denoueix has turned down an offer to take over at Turkish first division side Besiktas who are reported to be set to sack their Spanish coach Vicente Del Bosque.
"They approached me but I'm not interested at this time," Denoueix told AFP.
The Frenchman had been reported to be first-choice to take over from former Real Madrid coach Del Bosque after Besiktas's UEFA first leg return match here Thursday with Norway's Bodo Glimt.
Del Bosque, who was sacked from Real last year despite winning two Spanish and two European titles in three years, replaced Romanian Mircea Lucescu.
