PARIS, Sept 28 (AFP) - Trading in shares in struggling theme park Euro Disney were suspended from trading Tuesday shortly before mid day here pending a company announcement, stock market operator Euronext said.
The Euro Disney stock was last trading at 0.32 euros.
A Euro Disney spokesman said the company would make a statement later in the day.
French business newspaper La Tribune reported Tuesday that US hedge fund Black Diamond was the only creditor yet to approve the troubled theme park operator's plan for restructuring its debt of 2.4 billion euros (2.95 billion dollars).
The deadline for approval is Thursday night, when an agreement by creditors to a suspension of payments expires.
Last week Euro Disney, advised by investment house Rothschild, sent a final proposal to creditors, notably covering arrangements for dealing with the company's senior debt, about 40 percent of which is held by Black Diamond in conjunction with other hedge funds including Cerberus and Strategic Value, the newspaper reported.
Euro Disney has agreed to raise payment on its senior debt to 300 basis points above the benchmark Euribor interbank rate from 100 basis points initially proposed, the report said.
The hedge funds, advised by Houlihan Lockey bank, have all agreed to the proposal except Black Diamond, La Tribune said.
