KIZILCAHAMAM - ''The whole world knows that Turkish government is sincere on the issue of European Union (EU). There is no problem remaining on the way to EU,'' Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday.
Speaking at Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Central Executive Board meeting in Kizilcahamam, near Ankara, Erdogan briefed about the steps made by his government on the way to the EU.
''Immediately after November 3rd (2992) elections, we started our initiatives to make steps towards the EU. We toured all the EU capitals. We worked very hard for the EU. I believe that the result we desired will be reached on December 17th,'' Erdogan stated.
Calling on the MPs to act in unity to make Turkey's priorities true, Erdogan warned, ''those who want to create problems in politics should not be tolerated.''
