New And Liquidated Companies In August Of 2004

ANKARA - A total of 3,092 new companies and 3,010 new trade names were established in August of 2004 with a total capital of 559 trillion Turkish liras (TL).
The State Institute of Statistics (DIE) said on Saturday that number of the established companies increased 27.51 percent from 2,425 to 3,092 in the August of 2004.
Within the same month, 1,967 companies increased their capital by 1.5 quadrillion TL, 7 companies with total capital of 5.8 trillion TL changed their status, and 520 companies with total capital of 2 trillion TL were liquidated.
Number of the liquidated companies rose 81.82 percent from 286 to 520 in the August of 2004.
