Iran has resumed natural gas supplies to Turkey, one day after halting gas flow due to maintenance work on one of the pipelines.
Mahmoud Loqmani, a supervisor at one of the gas dispatching centers, said the gas flow resumed at 3 p.m. (1130GMT) on Wednesday after the maintenance work was completed.
On Tuesday, Iran temporarily shut a pipeline carrying natural gas supplies to Turkey due to a technical problem. Both countries' state gas companies confirmed that Turkey had been informed of the halt.
Iran is the second biggest gas exporter to Turkey, which receives between 15 and 18 cubic meters of gas through a pipeline linking the northwestern city of Tabriz to the Turkish capital of Ankara.
