Bush Living In 'fantasyland' On Iraq: Kerry

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida, Sept 22 (AFP) - Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry on Wednesday asserted that President George W. Bush was living in a "fantasyland" in his handling of Iraq.
In a campaign speech here, Kerry noted he had arrived from Orlando, Florida, home of DisneyWorld and its Fantasyland attraction, but "the difference between George W. Bush and me is I drove by, he lives in it."
Bush, he said, needs "a dose of reality" on the situation in Iraq.
Kerry dismissed the intelligence on which Bush had justified the US invasion, "George Bush's guess work is going to cost our troops. The president should stop guessing.
"Every step of the way this president has made the wrong choice," said Kerry, "and now our troops are paying the price."
Kerry, reiterated that he had voted in the US Senate to give Bush a green light to invade Iraq because "the general consensus in Washington ... was that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
"I accepted the intelligence, it was given to us," said Kerry, adding the president had "also promised war was not inevitable," and "methodically, he didn't let the arms inspectors or the UN do their work" to determine the presence of weapons.
