DUBAI, Sept 22 (AFP) - A video posted on an Islamist website Wednesday and allegedly recorded by Abu Mussab al-Zarqawi's group showed what it said was their British hostage Kenneth Bigley, threatened with execution, pleading to Prime Minister Tony Blair to save his life.
In the video, which could not be authenticated, the presumed hostage, whose face is blurred, introduces himself as Ken Bigley from Liverpool.
"This is possibly my last chance to speak to you," says the presumed hostage, whose voice breaks down several times in the footage.
He is seen sitting in front of a flag bearing the name of Tawhid wal Jihad (Unity and Holy War), the group which has beheaded two American nationals who were abducted with him in Baghdad last week.
