BRUSSELS - The scheduled meeting between Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt was postponed.
Verhofstadt's spokesman told the A.A correspondent on Wednesday that the meeting, which was scheduled to be held on Thursday morning, was postponed after Verhofstadt had a traffic accident.
The spokesman said that the meeting was planned to be held on October 2 during Prime Minister Erdogan's visit to Brussels.
Belgian Prime Minister Verhofstadt was hospitalized for minor injuries following an overnight car accident.
Verhofstadt was being driven home by his chauffeur in the city of Ghent when his car overturned late on Tuesday.
