NYON, Switzerland (AFP) - UEFA's disciplinary body hit Italian Serie A club Roma with stern punishment for the violent incident that forced last week's Champions League match against Dynamo Kiev to be abandoned.
Kiev were awarded the match with a 3-0 scoreline and Roma will have to play their next two Champions League home matches behind closed doors.
Last Wednesday's Group B match against Dynamo at Roma's Olympic stadium was suspended after Swedish referee Anders Frisk was injured by a missile thrown from the crowd at the half-time break with the Ukrainians leading 1-0.
