State Minister Babacan Meets Moghadam

ANKARA - Turkish State Minister Ali Babacan met on Sunday evening International Monetary Fund (IMF) Turkey Desk Chief Reza Moghadam.
IMF delegation, led by Moghadam, is currently in Turkey to discuss new 3-year program.
Schedule and studies of Macro Framework Team were also discussed at the meeting.

-MACRO FRAMEWORK TEAM-
The Macro Framework Team is comprised of seven separate teams. They are going to study ''Balance of Payments'', ''Budget'' ''Finance'', ''Tax Reform'', ''Social Security'', ''Banking Reform'', and ''Monetary Policies.''
Sources said that the teams convene regularly to assess developments in macro economy and meet State Minister Babacan from time to time to brief him about the developments.
IMF delegation will get information about recent developments in economy and have regular meetings during their stay in Ankara.
