GAZIANTEP - Humanitarian aid convoy carrying foodstuff collected in a campaign organized by Southeastern Anatolia Exporters' Associations left Gaziantep city for Tal Afar city of Iraq on Monday.
Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen said that Turkey was monitoring carefully incidents in Iraq, noting that they wished that Iraqi people's sufferings would soon end.
Recalling that Turkey earlier sent humanitarian aid to countries in the region, Tuzmen noted that they hoped that Turkish businessmen and exporters would help to the development of not only Turkey but the whole region through their investments, since the region still encountering economic, educational and health problems.
