ISTANBUL - Turkish and Greek artists opened on Friday an exhibition entitled: ''Meeting Point: Modern Arts - Modern Arts Exhibition from Turkey and Greece'' at the St. Irene Museum of Turkish commercial hub of Istanbul.
The exhibition is held in cooperation among Turkish-German Culture Forum, Turkish-Greek Friendship Initiative and Marmara University's Faculty of Fine Arts.
Works of Arts of Turkish and Greek artists, including Michalis Arfaras, Adnan Coker, Theodulos Grigoriu, Ender Guzey, Gulsun Karamustafa, Kostas Tsoklis are being displayed at the exhibition.
The exhibition will stay open till October 3rd.
St. Irene Church (museum) was the first church in Istanbul, built by Constantine in the 4th century and rebuilt by Justinian. It is reputed as the site of a pre-Christian temple.
