ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank rose by 189 million U.S. dollars between September 3rd and 10th, 2004.
According to the Central Bank's weekly statement, the bank's foreign exchange reserves, which were 33,324 million U.S. dollars on September 3rd, rose to 33,513 million U.S. dollars on September 10th.
On the other hand, the total of foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations dropped by 329 million U.S. dollars, from 17,422 million U.S. dollars to 17,093 million U.S. dollars, between August 20th and 27th.
The international reserves of Turkey, comprising gold and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations, dropped by 634 million U.S. dollars from 52,825 million to 52,191 million U.S. dollars between August 20th and 27th.
