Turkish Delegation Proceeds To Khartoum

KHARTOUM - Turkish delegation who handed humanitarian aid to Sudanese officials in Darfur region proceed to Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, on Thursday.
The delegation met Abdullah Ahmed al-Hardallo, Deputy Speaker of the National Council of the Sudan, in Khartoum.
Turkish-Sudanese Parliamentary Friendship Group Chairman Abdurrahman Anik said that Turkey and Sudan had a common history, stressing that Turkey would always support Sudan.
Two military cargo planes loaded with humanitarian aid from Turkey landed Darfur region yesterday (Wednesday).
Turkish delegation handed humanitarian aid to Sudanese executives. The humanitarian aid consists of food, tents, medicine and other medical equipment worth of 275,000 U.S. dollars.
