LONDON (AFP) - Five protesters broke into the House of Commons chamber as members of parliament prepared to vote on a ban on fox hunting, causing a suspension of proceedings.
The protesters were grabbed by doorkeepers and bundled out of the chamber before the sitting was suspended, according to images broadcast on several British television stations.
The break-in came shortly after scuffles outside in Parliament Square in which several protesters were injured by police wielding batons.
