ANKARA - Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc described killing of Turkish drivers in Iraq as violence and said, ''such a violence has place neither in Islam nor in any other religions.''
Arinc held a joint news conference with Syrian People's Assembly Speaker Mahmoud al-Abrash on Tuesday.
Upon a question regarding the Turkish drivers who were killed in Iraq, Arinc said, ''Iraq has turned to be a hell. Nobody has security of life in Iraq,'' adding he felt very sorry over the death of Turkish driver in Iraq.
Arinc said, ''such a violence can never be right. It has no place in Islam and in any other religions. Especially Islam has always rejected such a violence.''
