Erdogan To Meet European Parliament Leaders On September 23rd

BRUSSELS - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet political group leaders in the European Parliament (EP) on September 23rd, it was reported on Friday.
EP will have its Chairmanship Conference the same day.
EP Spokesman Jose Manuel Liberato said the meeting would be closed to press and other parliamentarians. He said reforms in Turkey and whether Turkey has completed the check list as regards Copenhagen political criteria will be the main topic of the meeting.
Chairmanship Conference, as the executive organ including EP President and political group chairmen in the EP, fix the agenda of the parliament and where and when the drafts and laws will be discussed.
