DIYARBAKIR, Turkey, Sept 10 (AFP) - Three Turkish soldiers and four Kurdish rebels, one of them a woman, were killed in clashes early on Friday in the southeast of Turkey, local security sources said in the main city in the region.
Security sources in Diyarbakir, the biggest city in the predominantly Kurdish part of Turkey, said the incident occurred near the town of Pervari.
They said the heaviest clashes had taken place around the village of Yazlica, where sporadic fighting was still going on.
