ANKARA - Turkish Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan met Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Finance Minister Ahmet Uzun on Tuesday.
Replying to a question after the meeting, Unakitan said that Turkey owns 50 percent share of Turkish Cypriot Airlines, noting that privatization of the company would be open to discussion soon.
Unakitan said, ''it is out of question to grant this share to TRNC, but it will be privatized. Any company can buy this share.''
Stating that experts would discuss the issue, he added that they would take a decision on the question after they received bids.
