Arinc Calls An Emergency Meeting Of The Turkish Parliament

ANKARA - Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc Tuesday asked Turkish Parliament to convene in an extraordinary session on September 14th.
Arinc said, ''Parliament has been called to convene in an emergency session on September 14th, 2004 to discuss Turkish Penal Code (TCK) bill and the bill to amend several laws and decrees.''
More than 200 parliamentarians from the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) on Monday had asked the parliament to convene on September 14th.
