FALLUJAH, Sept 6 (AFP) - The death toll in a car bomb attack outside Fallujah rose to seven US marines and three Iraqi national guards, struck when they were passing near the rebel enclave, a military statement said.
"The vehicle-borne improvised explosive device which killed both Iraqi National Guard personnel and Marines was detonated late this morning near Fallujah," the statement read.
"The explosion killed seven Marines who were assigned to I Marine Expeditionary Force and three Iraqi National Guard Soldiers."
